Over 7.5 million vaccine jabs given

A total of 7,593,179 doses of vaccine had been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday, says Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.

Of these, 5,463,128 were first-dose recipients and 2,130,051 had received both shots.

“Yesterday alone, 197,274 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered,” he said in a Twitter post today.

The five states with the most fully vaccinated people are Selangor (275,098), Sarawak (240,232), Johor (224,441), Perak (195,469) and Sabah (180,825).
