The Sabah government will implement Phase One of the movement control order under the National Recovery Plan from tomorrow onwards by maintaining most of the SOPs, says Chief Minister Hajiji Noor.

He said several social and economic activities would be allowed, including dining in at restaurants and the operation of food stalls and outlets at hotel premises; roadside stalls selling vegetables, fish and fruits; as well as barber shops.

“Details on the SOPs for Sabah will be released soon,” he said in a statement today.

Hajiji said sports and recreational activities without physical contact such as exercise, golf, fishing and cycling would also be allowed.

He said the list of factories that would be allowed to operate would be extended to include rubber, cement and paint, as well as wood-based factories and furniture factories.
