More than 2 million fully vaccinated

Over two million people in the country have been fully vaccinated so far, as the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme or PICK continues to roll out.

An infographic by the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply shows that 2,021,956 people or 6.2% of the population had received two shots of vaccine as of June 26.

Another 5,204,993 or 15.9% meanwhile have received a first dose, taking the total number of vaccine jabs administered in the country to 7,226,949.

A total of 187,877 people received a vaccine jab yesterday, of which 55,598 were second doses.

In terms of fully vaccinated individuals, Selangor leads the way with 268,730, followed by Sarawak (212,978), Johor (211,797), Perak (187,852) and Kuala Lumpur (170,621).
