36 more deaths as total cases cross 470,000

The nationwide Covid-19 death toll rose by 36 in the past 24 hours, while another 3,780 new cases took the total confirmed infections in the country to 470,110.

Selangor recorded 1,275 cases, Sarawak 405, Kedah 363, Kelantan 357, Kuala Lumpur 342, Johor 224, Penang 187, Pahang 159, Melaka 122 and Perak 115.

Sabah recorded 87 cases, Negeri Sembilan 70, Terengganu 58, Labuan and Putrajaya seven each, and Perlis two.
