Covid-19 cases hit record high of 287

A total of 287 cases of Covid-19 were reported today, the highest number yet since the pandemic broke out in Malaysia.
In a press conference, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said all 287 cases were local transmissions.
This brings total confirmed cases in the country to 11,771, of which 1,540 remain active with 22 in the ICU and four in need of respiratory assistance.
Noor Hisham also said 81 patients were discharged, taking total recoveries to 10,095, while the death toll remained unchanged at 136.
