Daily caseload at 340, no new deaths reported

Another 340 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,037,582.

There were 203 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,990,430.

There are now 10,210 active cases, of which 9,823 or 96.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 379 (3.7%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of eight are in ICU with five in need of respiratory assistance. 

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll unchanged at 36,942.
