New infections at 285 as another 7 deaths reported

A total of 16 are in ICU with 14 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 285 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,034,228.

There were 300 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,986,943.

There are now 10,355 active cases, of which 9,957 or 96.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 382 (3.7%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 16 are in ICU with 14 in need of respiratory assistance. 

Seven deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,930.
