Daily caseload at 318, no new deaths reported

Another 318 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,033,943.

There were 331 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,986,643.

There are now 10,377 active cases, of which 9,960 or 96% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 398 (3.8%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 19 are in ICU with 15 in need of respiratory assistance.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll unchanged at 36,923.
