Daily caseload drops to 287 as death toll stays unchanged

Another 287 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,032,433.

There were 590 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,984,891.

There are now 10,634 active cases, of which 10,175 or 95.7% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 439 (4.1%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 20 are in ICU with seven in need of respiratory assistance. 

No new deaths were reported, leaving the toll unchanged at 36,908.
