Daily caseload drops to 1,500 as 3 more deaths reported

Another 1,502 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,000,332.

There were 2,093 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,941,114.

There are now 22,505 active cases, of which 20,889 or 92.8% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,512 (6.7%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 104 are in ICU with 70 in need of respiratory assistance. 

Another three deaths were reported, including two who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,713.
