New infections at 2,445 as death toll up by 2

There are now 24,713 active cases, of which 23,567 or 95.4% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 2,445 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,837,005.

There were 1,613 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,775,927.

There are now 24,713 active cases, of which 23,567 or 95.4% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,105 (4.5%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 41 are in ICU with 22 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 61.7%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 11.2%.

Two more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,365.
