New infections below 2,000 as death toll up by 3

There are now 25,278 active cases, of which 24,136 or 95.5% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 1,924 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,830,214.

There were 2,360 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,768,588.

There are now 25,278 active cases, of which 24,136 or 95.5% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, two (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,089 (4.3%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 51 are in ICU with 28 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 62%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 13.9%.

Another three deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,348.
