Daily caseload dips to 1,300 as 5 more deaths logged

There are now 25,083 active cases, of which 23,866 or 95.1% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 1,307 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,820,197.

There were 1,830 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,758,797.

There are now 25,083 active cases, of which 23,866 or 95.1% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, two (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,160 (4.6%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 55 are in ICU with 36 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 61.9%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 15.0%.

Another five deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,317.
