Daily caseload dips below 2,400 as another 3 deaths logged

Another 2,375 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,813,702.

There were 1,466 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,750,198.

There are now 27,205 active cases, of which 25,912 or 95.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, eight (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,232 (4.5%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 53 are in ICU with 41 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 61.4%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 14.4%.

Three more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,299.
