Daily caseload falls below 1,500 as another 3 deaths reported

Another 1,483 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,805,107.

There were 2,090 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,742,488.

There are now 26,339 active cases, of which 25,021 or 95.0% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, nine (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,241 (4.7%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 68 are in ICU with 48 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 62.1%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 18.5%.

Another three deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,280.
