New infections still below 2,000 as death toll up by 3

There are now 26,949 active cases, of which 25,648 or 95.2% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 1,971 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,803,624.

There were 2,389 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,740,398.

There are now 26,949 active cases, of which 25,648 or 95.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, eight (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,224 (4.5%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 69 are in ICU with 49 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 58.0%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 36.7%.

Three more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,277.
