Daily caseload hovers at 2,300 as another 9 deaths reported

There are now 31,463 active cases, of which 30,084 or 95.6% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 2,356 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,784,980.

There were 1,875 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,717,292.

There are now 31,463 active cases, of which 30,084 or 95.6% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 20 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,285 (4.1%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 74 are in ICU with 46 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 64.1%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 19.8%.

Another nine deaths were reported, including three who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,225.
