New infections at 4,300 as 10 more deaths reported

There are now 44,617 active cases, of which 42,926 or 96.2% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 4,334 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,732,502.

There were 5,082 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,651,805.

There are now 44,617 active cases, of which 42,926 or 96.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 28 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,595 (3.6%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 68 are in ICU with 44 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 58.5%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 18.2%.

Another 10 deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,080.
