Daily caseload drops below 4,000 as death toll up by 4

There are now 45,375 active cases, of which 43,701 or 96.3% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 3,943 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,728,168.

There were 4,645 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,646,723.

There are now 45,375 active cases, of which 43,701 or 96.3% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 31 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,577 (3.5%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 66 are in ICU with 45 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 63.6%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 17.7%.

Another four deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,070.
