Daily caseload tops 4,600 as 11 more deaths logged

Another 4,684 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,705,824.

There were 4,275 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,622,900.

There are now 46,904 active cases, of which 45,264 or 96.5% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 28 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,556 (3.3%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 56 are in ICU with 35 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 65.4%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 14.9%.

Another 11 deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,020.
