New infections fall below 4,000 as death toll up by 6

There are now 46,506 active cases, of which 44,843 or 96.4% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 3,927 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,701,140.

There were 4,949 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,618,625.

There are now 46,506 active cases, of which 44,843 or 96.4% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 24 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,587 (3.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 52 are in ICU with 38 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 63.8%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 13.8%.

Another six deaths were reported, including three who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,009.
