New infections below 4,000 as 4 more deaths reported

Another 3,926 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,668,139.

There were 3,542 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,584,907.

There are now 47,286 active cases, of which 45,657 or 96.6% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 30 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,539 (3.3%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 60 are in ICU with 35 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 60.2%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 16.1%.

Another four deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,946.
