Daily caseload dips to 4,500 as death toll up by 10

Another 4,503 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,664,213.

There were 3,847 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,581,365.

There are now 46,906 active cases, of which 45,318 or 96.6% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 24 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,505 (3.2%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 59 are in ICU with 30 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 62.0%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 15.8%.

Another 10 deaths were reported, including four who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,942.
