New infections dip to 2,300 as death toll up by 3

A total of 52 are in ICU with 31 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 2,345 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,600,736.

There were 2,384 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,529,201.

There are now 35,716 active cases, of which 34,411 or 96.3% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 21 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,232 (3.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 52 are in ICU with 31 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 61.3%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 12.6%.

Another three deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,819.
