New infections top 3,200 as death toll up by 2

A total of 43 are in ICU with 26 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 3,264 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,595,974.

There were 2,703 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,524,281.

There are now 35,882 active cases, of which 34,659 or 96.6% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 24 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,156 (3.2%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 43 are in ICU with 26 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 61.9%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 10.4%.

Two more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 35,811.
