Daily caseload tops 4,000 as 3 more deaths reported

Another 4,020 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,586,322.

There were 1,718 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,516,688.

There are now 33,839 active cases, of which 32,617 or 96.4% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 21 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,156 (3.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 45 are in ICU with 23 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 60.5%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 10.9%.

Another three deaths were reported, including two who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,795.
