Daily caseload dips to 2,700 as 6 more deaths reported

Another 2,773 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,568,828.

There were 1,984 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,502,840.

There are now 30,217 active cases, of which 28,892 or 95.6% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 26 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,252 (4.1%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 47 are in ICU with 28 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 63.3%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 10.5%.

Six more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 35,771.
