Daily caseload still hovers at 1,800 as 2 more deaths reported

Another 1,877 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,510,196.

There were 1,715 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,451,308.

There are now 23,208 active cases, of which 22,204 or 95.7% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 30 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 945 (4.1%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 29 are in ICU with 17 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 60.7%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 6.2%.

Another two deaths were reported. Total deaths now stand at 35,680.
