Daily caseload remains at 2,000 as 3 more deaths reported

Another 2,021 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,489,503.

There were 3,162 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,425,777.

There are now 28,085 active cases, of which 26,980 or 96.1% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 18 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,048 (3.7%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 39 are in ICU with 24 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 58.1%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 7.0%.

Another three deaths were reported. Total deaths now stand at 35,641.
