Daily caseload drops below 1,500 as 3 more deaths reported

There are now 30,509 active cases, of which 29,271 or 95.9% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 1,469 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,481,278.

There were 1,836 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,415,146.

There are now 30,509 active cases, of which 29,271 or 95.9% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 20 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,182 (3.9%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 36 are in ICU with 17 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 57.0%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 5.9%.

Another three deaths were reported, including two who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,623.
