4 more days for tax submissions, LHDN issues reminder

The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) has issued a reminder for taxpayers to file their taxes online by May 15.

In a statement, it said more than 2.58 million tax return forms for the 2021 year of assessment had been received from individual taxpayers as of April 30.

Of these, some 2.48 million or over 96% of the forms were submitted through e-filing. The remainder were submitted manually or through paper forms.

The deadline for the manual filing of taxes was on April 30.
