Daily caseload tops 1,300 as 3 more deaths reported

Another 1,372 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,456,736.

There were 3,610 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,397,881.

There are now 23,276 active cases, of which 22,146 or 95.1% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 19 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,025 (4.4%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 86 are in ICU with 46 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 56.0%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 11.6%.

Another three deaths were reported. Total deaths now stand at 35,579.
