The police officer from the Bukit Aman Narcotics CID who made a live TikTok video during a raid on an entertainment centre will be transferred to the Johor police contingent headquarters.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain confirmed this when contacted by Bernama today.

On Monday, Bukit Aman Narcotics CID director Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said an initial investigation found that the TikTok post of the police officer was a personal message meant to promote her account.

The one-minute, 38-second clip showing a police officer in a police operations jacket explaining the scope of her work, including raids and inspections, had gone viral on social media.

The police had previously issued a directive prohibiting officers and personnel from sharing on social media while in uniform.
