16.1% of children fully jabbed, 40.7% given first dose

Some 92.6% of teenagers have completed their vaccination while the percentage of adults who have received a booster shot remains at 68%.

A total of 572,744 children or 16.1% of those aged five to 11 had completed their Covid-19 vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,447,377 children or 40.7% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,881,518 or 92.6% have completed their vaccination while 2,982,044 or 95.8% have received a first jab.

As for adults, a total of 15,998,406 individuals or 68% have received a booster shot while 22,963,218 or 97.6% have completed their vaccination.

A total of 23,240,041 or 98.8% have received at least one dose.

A total of 59,460 doses were given yesterday, comprising 39,883 as second doses, 6,165 as booster shots and 13,412 as first jabs.

This brings the total number of vaccine jabs administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,872,350.
