15% of children fully jabbed, 68% of adults boosted

Some 92.5% of teenagers have completed their vaccination.

A total of 532,317 children or 15% of those aged five to 11 had completed their vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, 1,435,586 children or 40.4% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,879,410 or 92.5% have completed their vaccination while 2,980,286 or 95.7% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of the adult population, a total of 15,991,811 individuals or 68% have received a booster dose while 22,962,624 or 97.6% have completed two doses.

A total of 23,239,599 or 98.8% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Yesterday, a total of 60,923 vaccine doses were given – 11,308 as first doses, 44,100 as second shots and 5,515 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,808,665.
