11.6% of children fully jabbed, 39.8% given first dose

Some 92.4% of teenagers are fully vaccinated while 67.9% of adults have received a booster jab.

A total of 412,026 children or 11.6% of those aged five to 11 had completed their vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme For Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,412,867 children or 39.8% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,873,414 or 92.4% have completed their vaccination while 2,974,984 or 95.7% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

As for the adult population, a total of 15,974,034 or 67.9% have received a booster dose while 22,960,906 or 97.6% have completed two doses.

A total of 23,238,026 or 98.8% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Yesterday, 60,184 vaccine doses were dispensed, with 11,268 as first doses, 45,359 as second shots and 3,557 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,633,398.
