7.6% of children fully jabbed, 38.9% given first dose

Some 67.8% of adults have received a booster shot while 92.2% of teenagers are fully vaccinated.

A total of 270,282 children or 7.6% of those aged five to 11 had completed their vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme For Children (PICK) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, 1,380,661 children or 38.9% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of teenagers aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,867,600 or 92.2% have completed their vaccination while 2,969,812 or 95.5% have received at least one dose.

A total of 15,959,507 adults or 67.8% have received a booster shot while 22,959,889 or 97.6% have been fully vaccinated.

A total of 23,236,544 or 98.8% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Yesterday, a total of 58,078 vaccine doses were dispensed, with 8,554 as first doses, 41,430 as second shots and 8,094 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,431,570.
