Over 22,400 children fully vaxxed, 1.3 million given first jab

Some 67.4% of adults have received a booster shot while 91.8% of teenagers have completed their vaccination.

A total of 22,476 children aged five to 11 had completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme For Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,351,441 children or 38% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of adults, a total of 15,862,983 individuals or 67.4% have received a booster shot while 22,955,496 individuals or 97.6% have completed both doses.

A total of 23,231,190 or 98.8% have received one dose of vaccine.

A total of 2,854,727 adolescents or 91.8% of those aged 12 to 17 have completed their vaccination while 2,949,995 or 94.9% have received a first dose.

A total of vaccine 22,081 doses were given yesterday, with 2,630 as first doses, 8,155 as second shots and 11,296 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,016,063.
