Daily caseload dips to 20,900 as 34 more deaths logged

ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 56.9%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 34.2%.

Another 20,923 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,122,004.

There were 25,467 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,844,766.

There are now 242,487 active cases, of which 235,596 or 97.2% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 1,159 (0.5%) are at quarantine centres while 5,430 (2.2%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 302 are in ICU with 198 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 56.9%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 34.2%.

Another 34 deaths were reported, including eight who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 34,751.
