Daily caseload dips to 24,200 as 59 more deaths logged

ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 59.7%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 43.2%.

Another 24,241 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 3,951,678.

There were 26,615 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,623,068.

There are now 294,366 active cases, of which 284,592 or 96.7% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 1,791 (0.6%) are at quarantine centres while 7,600 (2.6%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 383 are in ICU with 222 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 59.7%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 43.2%.

Another 59 deaths were reported, including 13 who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 34,244.
