Daily cases top 26,500 as 95 more deaths logged

ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 58.1%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 42.9%.

Another 26,534 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 3,872,135.

There were 31,234 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,533,994.

There are now 304,147 active cases, of which 293,435 or 96.5% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 2,123 (0.7%) are at quarantine centres while 8,213 (2.7%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 376 are in ICU with 222 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 58.1%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 42.9%.

Another 95 deaths were reported, including 23 who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 33,994.
