33.2% of children given first vaccine jab, 65.1% of adults boosted

Some 91.2% of teenagers have completed their vaccination.

A total of 1,180,323 children or 33.2% of those aged five to 11 had received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, 2,838,292 teenagers or 91.2% of those aged 12 to 17 have completed their vaccination while 2,938,106 or 94.4% have received at least one dose.

A total of 15,317,615 individuals or 65.1% of the adult population have received a Covid-19 booster dose while 22,936,715 or 97.5% have completed their vaccination.

A total of 23,213,016 individuals or 98.7% of adults have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 51,798 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, comprising 14,496 first doses, 2,055 second shots and 35,247 booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses given under National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 68,214,783.
