Daily caseload dips again to 22,535 as 87 more deaths reported

There are now 320,876 active cases, of which 96.4% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 22,535 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 3,823,571.

There were 25,356 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,468,888.

There are now 320,876 active cases, of which 309,214 or 96.4% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 2,574 (0.8%) are at quarantine centres while 8,704 (2.7%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 384 are in ICU with 222 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 57.8%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 43.8%.

Another 87 deaths were reported, including 25 who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 33,807.
