New cases dip to 26,250 as another 77 deaths logged

There are now 323,784 active cases, of which 96.3% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 26,250 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 3,801,036.

There were 25,089 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,443,532.

There are now 323,784 active cases, of which 311,946 or 96.3% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 2,780 (0.9%) are at quarantine centres while 8,691 (2.7%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 367 are in ICU with 211 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 56.7%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 41.9%.

Another 77 deaths were reported, including 23 who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 33,720.
