New cases top 22,000 as total infections cross 3 million

Of these, 104 or 0.46% are in Category Three, Four and Five.

Another 22,802 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 3,019,163.

Another 5,442 patients recovered, bringing total recoveries to 2,846,713.

Meanwhile 176 are in the ICU, including 82 confirmed Covid-19 patients.

A total of 98 are in need of respiratory assistance including 40 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Of the 22,802 cases reported today, 104 (0.46%) are in Category Three and above. The remaining 22,698 (99.54%%) are in Category One and Two.

A total of 5,029 cases (22.05%) are in Category One, 17,669 (77.49%) in Category Two, 82 (0.36%) in Category Three, 14 (0.06%) in Category Four, and eight (0.04%) in Category Five.
