Total booster jabs top 6 million

Some 98.9% of adults and 90.4% of teenagers have received at least one jab.

A total of 22,855,374 individuals or 97.6% of adults had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow portal, 23,148,776 individuals or 98.9% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of teenagers, a total of 2,753,927 individuals or 87.5% have completed their vaccination while 2,846,238 individuals or 90.4% have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 205,259 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, of which 197,121 were booster doses, 4,719 were second shots and 3,419 were first jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 57,515,286 doses, including 6,109,673 booster shots.
