97.6% of adults, 87.2% of teens fully vaccinated

Some 98.9% of adults and 90.2% of teenagers have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 22,836,859 individuals or 97.6% of the adult population had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, 23,135,883 individuals or 98.9% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of the adolescent population, a total of 2,745,665 individuals or 87.2% have completed their vaccination while 2,840,018 or 90.2% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 64,283 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday – 62,022 as booster shots, 1,411 as second jabs and 850 first doses.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 56,814,549, including 5,452,251 booster shots.
