87% of teens fully vaccinated
Some 90.1% have received at least one dose of vaccine.
A total of 2,738,450 individuals or 87% of teenagers had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.
According to the CovidNow website, a total of 2,835,938 individuals or 90.1% have received at least one dose of vaccine.
In terms of the adult population, 22,823,150 individuals or 97.5% have been fully vaccinated while 23,126,700 or 98.8% have received at least one dose of vaccine.
A total of 167,323 doses were administered yesterday comprising 3,161 first doses, 4,390 second shots and 159,772 booster jabs.
This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 56,207,871, including 4,879,326 booster shots.
