Daily cases creep past 4,000 again

Another 4,097 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 2,699,240.

Another 4,301 patients recovered, bringing total recoveries to 2,610,610.

Meanwhile 382 are in the ICU, including 330 confirmed Covid-19 patients.

A total of 201 are in need of respiratory assistance including 144 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Of the 4,097 cases reported today, 86 (2.1%) are in Category Three and above. The remaining 4,011 (97.9%) are in Category One and Two.
