55 reported Covid deaths take toll to 30,425

Selangor had the most reported deaths at 10.

Another 55 Covid-related deaths were reported on Nov 30, taking the cumulative death toll in the country to 30,425.

According to the health ministry’s Github data repository, eight or 14.5% of these were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

Selangor had the highest number of reported deaths at 10 or 18.2% followed by Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur at six or 10.9% each.

Sabah and Penang reported five deaths each; Kelantan, Pahang, Perak and Sarawak recorded four deaths each; while Johor reported three deaths.

Melaka and Negeri Sembilan reported two deaths each while no deaths were reported in Kedah, Perlis, Labuan and Putrajaya.

A total of 4,879 new cases were reported yesterday, taking the overall total to 2,632,782.

As of yesterday, there were 65,153 active Covid-19 cases reported and 5,168 recoveries.
